Reproduce:

  • Get Ubuntu 18.04
  • Export your GDevelop 5 game to Linux
  • Run the game

What’s wrong:

  • You just get from 1-5 FPS.

Computer specifications:
CPU: Intel(R) Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce 940M (2GB)

You must give more details about your game.
If you have the exported game or project folder maybe an user with ubuntu can test.
Without more informations for identify what’s wrong I’ll close the topic in few days.

Have you tried other export options to confirm that the problem is related to Linux?
