Gdevelop is Just Brilliant

Stuck in full lockdown in nz, I was keen to have a play at something new, and cannot say enough great things about Gdevelop. Its a lot to take in, but the community support and tutorials have been fantastic, and the depth and stability of gdevelop itself is just amazing. I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of what it can do, but the simplicity and cohesion of the tools makes me keen to keep diving deeper. Thanks SO much to everyone making the tool and its learning so great.

As someone who’s been using GDevelop for over a year I cannot agree more. The event system is the best graphical programming interface I’ve come across and I’ve tried a tonne of engines.

When you get the hang of the basics you can make stuff exceptionally fast, and there is a lot of depth in the engine, especially when you start making your own functions and behaviors.

It’s a good time to get into the engine right now IMO, because the developers have been very active and there’s some really cool stuff being discussed for future versions.

Not to mention it’s a super fun engine to use :stuck_out_tongue:

As an Aussie, I’d like to say welcome to the community as a bro from across the ditch

It’s not it’s misleading they said you don’t have to type in a line of code but you do

We saw you don’t like GDevelop in your post, no need to spam other posts. Thank you

With a title like “Gdevelop is just brilliant” is a bit fanboyish don’t you think?
