I randomly started on a drawing tool that focuses on creating cyberpunk styled glyphs, text, and designs. Creating something like this has been on my mind for a while now, and since I recently discovered how to export images to .png files, I figured now was the time to work on it.
Currently you can draw 4 different styles of lines, circles, and arcs, and there is a layer system for up to 3 layers that can each have individual effects applied. There is no UI, it is all done with keyboard commands and the mouse.
Here’s some examples I’ve generated using the tool. I’ll post more in the future if anyone’s interested, and more WIP stuff soon. I don’t know how far this project will go, so we’ll see!
Here’s another example made with the tool. I’ll post a few more here and there. I’m also new to the forum, so hello and all that, and sorry if I’m being spammy.
I’m hoping very soon (Like the next week or so)! There’s a few bugs I need to squish (Biggest one being I had saving your design as a transparent .png working but something major broke) and then I’ll get it posted.
The current in-dev version of the tool is live on itch.io here GLYPH
I’m calling it V0.5 because there’s still some features I’d like to add, but it is now stable and user friendly enough for the general public to use. Feel free to give it a try and leave comments, suggestions, or bugs that you think of.
