GLYPH - Cyberpunk Drawing Tool

I randomly started on a drawing tool that focuses on creating cyberpunk styled glyphs, text, and designs. Creating something like this has been on my mind for a while now, and since I recently discovered how to export images to .png files, I figured now was the time to work on it.

Currently you can draw 4 different styles of lines, circles, and arcs, and there is a layer system for up to 3 layers that can each have individual effects applied. There is no UI, it is all done with keyboard commands and the mouse.

Here’s some examples I’ve generated using the tool. I’ll post more in the future if anyone’s interested, and more WIP stuff soon. I don’t know how far this project will go, so we’ll see!

Here’s another example made with the tool. I’ll post a few more here and there. I’m also new to the forum, so hello and all that, and sorry if I’m being spammy.

Last screenshot for now, all created with the tool.

Love it! Is this tool going to be available online or as a GDevelop game?
Will you be able to export the drawings?

Hopefully this project works out for you!

Thanks! Yes, when it’s a little more user friendly I will release it. Probably on itch io and my website, maybe on GDevelop too.

Can’t wait to try it out!
P.S: Welcome to the GDevelop forum! If there’s anything I can help you with, let me know!

Working on adding some actual UI elements. It’s fun using the program itself to create it’s own interface.

Do you have an estimated release date for when people will be able to try it out?

I’m hoping very soon (Like the next week or so)! There’s a few bugs I need to squish (Biggest one being I had saving your design as a transparent .png working but something major broke) and then I’ll get it posted.

Also, here a random WIP screenshot.

The current in-dev version of the tool is live on itch.io here GLYPH

I’m calling it V0.5 because there’s still some features I’d like to add, but it is now stable and user friendly enough for the general public to use. Feel free to give it a try and leave comments, suggestions, or bugs that you think of.

LOVE IT SO MUCH!
I’m not much of an artist myself, but I did manage to create a 3d pinball machine looking thing

Just wondering, did you make this tool with GDevelop?

I will say the tool is very buggy. Especially when trying to draw High up on the grid.
