I’ve created this template (as requested by @zGameCreator and @AquaEcho)
based on the experiments i did for the raycast thread - where I didn’t use raycasting - because i’m an elderly, stubborn, contrarian who can’t be helped!
try it out and see if it’s ok before i put it out there
There’s game1 - using objects to detect and game 2 using light obstacle behaviour and read pixel.
the light obstacle one lags with too many enemy …i think because of the light checks rather than the code
The pathfinding is still a bit clunky on the hedges!
