I have a prototype for my game ready, the problem is I don’t really have a sense of what the game will be about, I just need a theme or setting to base the story and gameplay on, just throw whatever comes to your mind.

Based on your prototype screenshot i would say your theme could be a stalker killer that hunts down people who love to go milk shopping after 11 pm or an evil force that hunts you which is summoned every Sunday by some innocent playing kids who found a ancient evil dogtail in one of the backyards of the house and don’t know what they are doing (or they know exactly what they are doing but pretend to be innocent).
