In the real world, bombs don’t care about the direction they’re facing except for aerodynamics. I’m guessing it’s the fins that control the tail section. Otherwise, the nose would have to weight a lot more than the tail and it would need drag or loss of momentum or some form of help. The whole “objects in motion want to stay in motion” law. Even then, objects fall at the same speed and terminal velocity.
Maybe, use 2 sprites. One hidden object for the physics and a basic sprite positioned in the same location just for the image. Set sprite 2’s rotation to the previous mentioned angle.
