Save different game files in different folders or make backups to avoid file overwriting
I don’t know if this is what you are meaning, but just start each project in a new folder when created:
Then, what I do, is when saving (I do save everything to my computer) I add date/time on the end so I am not overwriting, and can roll back if I have a big error. Apologize in advance if I misunderstood the question.
