So i was trying to export to desktop some project
I did not have any builds left
So i did purchase one export for 50 credits
And i realized i did not change something so i canceled build
Yet credits were consumed and not returned
I am not asking for refund
Hi @ZeroX4 - sorry about this being not clear.
How did you do to “cancel” the build?
Once an online build is started, it effectively can’t be stopped as the servers are working on it and resources are allocated for it. Maybe there is a way we could adapt this though.
That’s all
And when i added these events and went to export it again i noticed it charged 50 credits and did not return them
I got this credits for helping Luni with some survey or something
So in my eyes i did not lost anything
But for ppl who paid real money for credits this will be unfair
IDK how charging credits work
But i know how buffering works
So in my eyes it should go like
When i hit Create Installation File
Credits are charged but held in some buffer or however to call it
Now if i cancel installation they should be returned but if build was created successfully then they should be charged permanently from my “wallet”
This would prevent ppl from starting new export when they still have available free exports
And hitting close to get free 50 credits
So it should add 50 credits back ONLY when there are 50 credits in buffer
OR at worst if technically it would not be worth to go with it
When i have no free exports left
And i gonna be charged 50 credits for exporting
I should get red popup with warning that after i hit Create Installation File credits will be charged even if i cancel build
So i better triple check my project is everything as i want with it before i continue
And 2 buttons one to cancel and one to continue exporting
This would also solve the issue
Cause i was warned so all fault would be on my side for not preparing properly
Rather than on not knowing that its one way road without return
Ok, we might want to make things clearer - the ability to close is actually seen as a feature because it allows you to launch a build and then close the dialog without cancelling it, so you can continue working on your game without being blocked having to wait for 3-5 minutes for it to finish (useful if for example you’re building a mobile version and want to continue working while the app is being generated).
