I Really Need Feedback on my Prototype

I’ve made a lot of prototypes for my current project, behind the scenes and I’ve been struggling on what I want to do for a good while. I want to make something simple, but deep. Something related to dealing with the enemies’ emotions and how to calm them down without hurting them physically.

For anyone who wants to help, I have the link to my recent prototype and while there’s nothing major going on with it, it gives a glimpse of what I want to do, but I’m mainly looking for feedback on how to make this both fun and interesting:

So far, the mechanics are fairly good for the prototype. But the sprinting doesn’t work. I would love to see this become a full game!

Thanks. Making it a full game is the goal, though this is just for the battles I have in mind. I’m been working on the game for a good while now, but the gameplay (or main hook) is something that I’ve been stuck on for even longer.

I’m still trying to find ways to make this idea fun and interesting, aside from obvious stuff like adding health.

Hello!

You could add to your prototype some cases where diamants move quickly at another place when hited by the player, making the game harder.

Also, you could reduce for a few seconds, the size of diamants hited and then, get their original size.

You have a base which can be completed with events adding variations to your game.
