Awesome game! I love the mechanic of picking items up and using them as weapons. Great idea! I did run into a few bugs like enemies and objects spawning inside the walls in the middle of the room, as well as pushing objects outside the walls. But it worked great and I had a ton of fun. Love the artwork too and Great job on the game!

That was really addictive! I also ran into the same bugs described by StaticYeti, but they weren’t game breaking or anything like that, thanks to the superpower.

Cool back story. Nice animated menu and good sound on the buttons. I played with the menu buttons for at least a minute. Mmmmm nice alliteration. Credits listed game as made for GDev Jam 6 not 7. Game looks fun and well put together. I awoke in guarded facility and was informed that I had special abilities. I was soon horror stricken when - struggling to control my new powers - I accidentally attacked a researcher and set off a red alert for my capture. I attempted to flee but was overwhelmed by my age old nemesis: wasd controls. I was overcome by researchers in the first room with a score of 0. I bravely tried again, this time strategically giving up my mouse hand to focus on movement, and managed to make it through one whole room, fending off researchers with my bare fists and a slightly disappointing power of repulsion. However it left me in a weakened state and my wounds made it impossible to fight all the researchers in the second room with hand-to-hand combat alone. My final score 8. Wasd controls wins again. Great entry though.

Thanks so much for your feedback!
I have just fixed the enemies spawning inside the walls so that should be good now.

Thanks for your feedback, it was really encouraging, and yes I can’t believe that I put game jam 6 instead of 7, will change that. Thanks for the menu, yeah, it had looked much worse before…

Awesome @Crowbar_Coder, that was fast!

With the objects being pushed outside the walls, I was able to replicate that by pushing the box on the ground and pushing the box into another object. When that other object is pushed it will push past the wall. Hope that helps with that bug if you do decide to fix that!

thanks, I will try to fix that.

Ok, the bugs are fixed. There should be now problems now when you play it, hopefully!

Hi!

Good game really. Thus, why use this WASD keys? It should be very more easy to employ the arrows keys, no?

Otherwise, well done!

Well, it’s easier to use WASD for people who are used to it, as the [E] and [F] keys are closer to reach for the left hand. Thanks!

Ok, it’s just a point of view but most people use the right hand than left hand.
And i think it is the reality.
Why don’t include in your game the other keys i suggest, plus yours of course.

It’ just my opinion of course.

I think wasd is more common because most people use the mouse with their right hand. I don’t have statistics, I’m just guessing. I don’t so it just sucks if there’s supposed to be a lot of stuff to do with both wasd and the mouse.

Yeah wasd is the most common controls with the mouse on the right hand, that’s why I coded it that way.
