Laser using Shape Painter and sprite as laser

Awhile back I create an example of a growing tongue. The grow part might be helpful. I used a panel sprite so it repeated the texture instead of stretching it. I hope it helps.

I messed around in the past with a grappling hook like from Zelda. I used the same principle as the basis for this. I ended up rewriting it. Use as much or as little as you want to. The timing might need some work or maybe a lot of work.
