I think i’d describe myself as a songwriter more than musician. ‘Musician’ makes me think of people who are actually good at it!
In my teens i stopped writing games when i got my first guitar aged 14, but i don’t play in bands anymore and just make music to entertain myself.
I enjoyed doing the music for the games and thought i’d put it all one one album - so that I could listen to it all! They’ve made it damn hard to burn cds of your own music now - they want everything to be sat on a hard drive in the desert using up power and water.
