Lex is very much unfinished. currently all you can do is put different textures on 3d boxes, aaaaannnd well, that isn’t really a Blender/Maya type experience. Any help?

NO one said it should be very advanced.
If it does its job, then it’s done.
currently you can add blank 3d boxes and assign 64x64 textures to them by typing filenames into a text input.
