My advanced physics testing project

Hi everyone, I’m MeccanichStudio. I’m continuing with the “full version” of the drift racing game. We’re writing this new post because the first one was getting too old. I’m adding several maps, including free mode, track mode, and more. I’m also creating a car store. Let me know if you want me to continue with it, and I will.

It would be nice to add a link to the game here as well:

Hi, I forgot to add the link, but I’ve added it now.

Hello everyone. I have published the ‘full version’ of the game, except that it still lacks several maps, a lap timer, coins, pedestrians, and a shop. But I have improved some things, tell me if it is coming along well. Link to the game Drift Racing Game | Play on gd.games

Wow, you’ve been busy, it looks great. Small feedback, not 100% sure as I can’t get a side view of the car for more than a second, but it looks like the car is floating, maybe the z value is a bit too high? It’s the shadow that makes me think that. The police car has a low z value, it’s sitting inside the road. Was that intentional?

Here’s a pic if anyone is wondering whether they should check it out.

I can’t drive next to a tree because it doesn’t have the right built-in collision mask. But you can place invisible objects that have physics, but the tree doesn’t, so they prevent the tree from passing.

Hi, I really appreciate your feedback. The car just gives the impression of floating because it’s not very low and has small wheels. There will be new cars in the next update. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi! Thanks for reporting the incorrect collision mask, it will be fixed in the next update. Thanks for the feedback.
