Hello!
I have a card game that I recently put on Steam. The music plays fine, but the sound FX do not. The sound FX are on independent channels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 99) and are adjusted with a ‘slider extension.’
The sound FX in question are 2 - 5 seconds each in MP3 format. (Because there are a lot of them, I had to compress to cut down on space)
The problem is only present in Steam and nowhere else.
Any ideas about how I could resolve this issue?
Hi …I think you should switch this to the how do i section. You don’t get much help on sound issues though. Have you tried changing a few of the files to .aac or .ogg on the steam version to see if you have the same problem

I have only attempted MP3 and WAV, but I will give OGG a shot! Strangely enough, only the sound FX don’t play. The music plays fine and they are in the same format as the sound FX. I’m not certain why this is the case.
No dice. Changed the music and sound FX to OGG and only the music played. I wonder if this has something to do with the events used? It only seems to effect ‘sounds on channels.’ Not ‘music on channels.’ Also, I can’t replicate the issue in the editor or in a regular exe.
