I attempted to export my game to HTML for platforms like itch io and gd games, but encountered an issue. Despite including audio in the game, there is no sound in the HTML version. However, when exporting via desktop, the audio works without any problems
You have to click anywhere for the audio to work and if it still doesnt work then create a mute object and set it to mute and if player unmutes the object then play the sound this is just what i do
Different type of web browser support different type of audio file format. Make sure that the audio file used in your game is support by the browser HTML.
Try AAC file format since this is most widely supported one
