Am reading and watching various tutorials but am impatient so I jump in to the project and get stuck in the mud over and over. No worries though.
I want to learn to use the visual scripting because it suits my picture personality and old age.

The issue now is I canāt find info on when or if the āset animationā was changed to āChange animationā because I canāt find the āsetā option which is used in some tutorials.
Some names of actions were changed and that is good thing cause it indicates that engine is going toward being more user friendly
HOWEVER this also means that old tutorials/screenshots/videos simply show old names of actions/conditions
If you cannot find what you are looking for simply ask
But general rule is that its still there under name that makes more sense
Look no one even need to know gdevelop to deduce this
I am old man too and like Eisot, i have made many games with different games engines.
Actually, i am making today a remake of a great game of Commodore Amiga, 64 and Atari ST : Rick Dangerous.
I have made a remake (just a little) of Canabalt with C64ās graphics.
Hi Amigo54,
Lots of fun trying to recreate the games from ābeforeā.
Aahh the early days of gaming. One of the first games I ever played was, if I remember correctly, Star wars or similar. One would warp to various zones and could be surpriced by swarms of Klingons and youād just have to wait until they have blasted you to pieces before you could excape to a nearby zone.
Hello Eisot,
Itās curious because me too! Incredible!
I remember how impress i was when i saw (poor) graphics of XWings and also animation of vessels.
