[SOLVED] Gdevelop not saving preferences

Describe the bug
After closing and re-launching Gdevelop, all preferences (theme, keyboard shortcuts, etc.) are reset to default.

I’m using the PC app.
I’ve tried uninstalling and re-installing the latest version (5.6.249).

I have also tried removing the existing “Preferences” file from C:\Users[Username]\AppData\Roaming\GDevelop 5 to see if gdevelop would generate a new Preferences file on launch. It does, but the newly generated preferences file only contains:

{“spellcheck”:{“dictionaries”:[“en-US”],“dictionary”:“”}}

…and new preferences changes are still not saved when closing and re-launching Gdevelop.

By preferences, u mean all the game name, the cover image, stuff like that?

Me too. I just posted about this. My game properties don’t stick either.

Try using your control panel to uninstall gdevelop entirely, then go to their official site

And get the latest version installed

Seems to have been resolved in latest update, 5.6.250. Prefs are saving fine for me now.

Yes, sorry, I forgot about this post, but I just checked and gdevelop does indeed now save the preferences that it wasn’t saving before.
