Hello. GDevelop still works, so this isn’t a request for help, but I thought that reporting this might be helpful: since updating to the 22H2 Windows 11 update today, GDevelop previews of my game take about three times longer to load. I was worried GDevelop had crashed when I first witnessed this, as it gets briefly stuck on the loading blue circle (it doesn’t animate), but it happens with any scene and every time. Previews were almost instant before tonight’s Windows update; I was using GDevelop earlier today with nice fast previews. Nothing else has changed on my PC. Once loaded, the previews perform as before.
If there’s an obvious reason for this - a setting I could change in GDevelop or Windows - I’d be interested to know. Thank you.
Edit: Also noticed this in the console when I run the game, though I don’t know if it’s related:
Error while preloading a json resource:Error: Network error
Edit two: Previews seem to be back to normal speed after a further restart (two in total), though the network error message persists. Happy for this thread to be closed, though if anyone knows about the error message I’d be grateful to hear what it means.
