My port of call is the classic/retro games from the 80s and 90s. Their gameplay isn’t complex but making them can still be a good challenge.
Plus most of them will have graphics ripped and in sprite sheets ready for you to use.

Hi @Fun7a - There’s been a few threads on this in recent years…type ‘game ideas’ in the search. It really depends what sort of game you like playing and how much you want to challenge yourself

It’s why i like create games of this time. As said by MrMen, the gameplay could be simple but had to be attractive because in this time, the graphics was not sufficient to attract or distract the people.
To give an ideo of game to our friend …, we must kown for which category of game you want some games ideas : commercial or indie games?
