What are some things you know now that you wish you knew when you started Gdevelop?

This is mainly targeted at people who have been using the engine for a while, I suppose. What’s some advice, tips or clever tricks you learned?

Keep your projects saved in a place where you can easily access them from any device.

You’ll suffer and wish to quit. However at that time you get that feeling, take a break. For few days, a week or a month, you’ll need to give your mind a rest and not get burnt out to crisp

Underestimate as mush as possible.

Back up some versions of your game so you can see the progress and refer to earlier versions.

No engine is perfect. Don’t fight it. Work with it. Work around it. Make it work. Make it fit.
