Wiki editor badge?

No worries!
Also, I can’t believe that out of 32 people with regular badge, and 20 people with leader badge, only 5 people have the wiki badge?

Snowy you probably flagged someone else’s post that was spam or something. As for this wiki thing, I’ve no idea, never heard of it, probably all five people who got it have no idea either, the forum burped and made a mistake.

Oh noooo, I thought being a dave was a more advanced level than being a regular. Something to aim for, to aspire to, something to make life’s journey more meaningful.

Nope - just born with it! Born into privilege! - like erm…Prince Andrew…or erm Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as he would become.

@SnowyRawrGamer - they probably programmed it in for a laugh 5 years ago - certain that no one would love that many posts in a week. And no one did…until now!!

You know what’s really funny though about this whole thing? It’s incredibly easy to get this badge if you are trust level 3, and somehow no one got it for over 4 years?

I mean I could make a tutorial but I don’t know how long I want to keep this badge special
Eventually in the future, I will most likely end up making a wiki for something, and then more and more people will start to earn the badge.

Which post got flagged?

I made a post responding to someone who had -6 GDevelop coins in their account, and my post got flagged as off-topic since I was trying to act like petlimpet

Since this post is mostly off-topic as well, I will paste my post that got deleted in here: (I originally made a post, it got held by the bot for review, and so I made this post. Both posts got deleted.)
Here is the post:

(My post got moderated so here’s a screenshot  )

It’s very weird since that has nothing at all to do with a wiki. My guess is MAYBE when an admin was taking action to delete the post, they accidentally turned it into a wiki giving me the badge?

Lol  :joy:

Its possible i guess.

I mean I don’t really see any other way I could have happened. I didn’t receive a notification of the badge, or edit a wiki that day.

I guess the only people who know for sure how I earned it are the mods. (But it’s really fun to speculate!)

Well idk if u earned the wiki badge or not, but i know one thing for sure, u definitely deserved the regular badge!

That complicates things. It now seems that I do not have the badge anymore…

I’m going to earn it myself real quick and see what happens, this is getting so weird
WIKI EDIT!
It now seems that I can’t earn it for some reason, well I’ll just come clean on how to earn the badge.
Hit the edit button on this post and type an edit and you should get the badge.
For some reason, it seems to not work for me. Idk why!

Edit: It works and I earned the badge again!

Sticking in the topic of wiki’s, I was trying to figure out a way that wiki’s could work on the forum, and I think I got a pretty good idea! What do you guys think?

So …you act like me for one post, and earn a badge! i’ve been acting like me for thousands of posts …and still no badge! It’s anti-mollusc is what it is!!

Blimey you’re proactive @SnowyRawrGamer - bounding up snow capped mountains with news of the coming spring! - I like the newsletter - but how do you stop something like that from just getting spammed with self-promotion! …by erm people like me!

The flagging of that post was weird - it might just be certain phrases within it

Very true! If the newsletter does get full of spam, might as well just delete it.

They should give you a badge for acting like yourself for 1000 posts! Maybe something like “Limpeter”?
