Somehow this reminds me vaguely about a thread about those forum’s achievements/badges a few months (?) ago: Someone wanted to collect all of these or most of them? (Can’t find this thread somehow).
Anyway, I think these badges can be just seen as a nice gimmick.
There are a few badges which are seemingly practibally almost not unlockable like the: “Great Topic - Received 50 likes on a topic” or this one badge where one has to give 50 likes in day 5 times.

In my overall opinion, (as active as the forums are), they could be more active. New badges and stuff could make it more fun if they did add them.
