Add a "was just dropped" condition for draggable physics objects

Before writing a topic, please follow these rules:

  1. Before submitting a new feature request, verify that it does not exist already. If that’s the case, please add your comment to that conversation.
  2. If you cannot find the feature that you want, you can create a new feature request. Please make just one topic per feature. Do not make a list of multiple demands (these are harder to classify, therefore they will be closed and archived).

WRITE YOUR FEATURE WITH THE FOLLOWING GUIDE

  • What would you like to request: Talk about your feature. For example “I want a window where I can see the animations on the Asset Store”
  • Why you are requesting it: Explain your use case -This is the most important part of the message!- Describe what you’re trying to achieve and the problems that are stoping you from doing so in detail.
  • Supporting evidence: Feel free to add images, videos or gifs of the problem that you are facing. That helps to identify the problem.

With your help and feedback we’ll make GDevelop a better game design platform!
Thanks.

I really think that it would be nice to see a “was just dropped” condition for draggable physics objects. I’m making a physics-based puzzle game and right now I’m trying to implement an event that sets the Y velocity to 0 when you had drop an object. However, since there is no condition for that yet, I can’t do this.

I would really appreciate something like this. Thanks!
