Hello,
A while back, I made a post about an issue with one-click exports to iOS and how, even if you set the orientation to a specific angle, it would still change back to the other one if you rotated the device (For reference).
While this issue did get fixed on iPhones, this morning, I was informed by Apple that my game did not pass review due to it demonstrating similar issues to the ones that were fixed on iOS. I have attached the pictures they sent for reference below:
I was told, “Parts of the app’s user interface were crowded, laid out, or displayed in a way that made it difficult to use the app when reviewed on iPad Air 11-inch (M3) running iPadOS 26.5.2.”
The game is set to only be in landscape, but judging by these screenshots, it appears to be in portrait.
App Store Connect is automatically detecting the one-click exports to iOS as supporting iPads, and since my game is only meant to run in landscape, this puts it in an awkward position.
Apologies if this is too similar to my previous post about this, but I did think this was worth mentioning, as this effectively prevents any game made exclusively for landscape from passing an App Store Connect review.
Thank you.
