Applying an angular force using Physics engine 2.0 while jumping

Hello all,

I am working on having my character be able to throw something using the Physicsengine 2.0. It works well when my character is on the ground. But when I have them throw it while jumping, they spike the object to the ground, rather than the upper angle I had before. I have the “application point on () axis” set to the character, but it still happens. Is there anything I am missing?
