I created my first game with GDevelop starting from the game example Space Invaders found on: Space invaders - a game example from the GDevelop game making app | GDevelop.
I created it leaving its original 960 x 540 resolution. I’d like to know if it is possible change the resolution to make the image sharper but that the game still looks the same as in the video.
Thanks in advance.
I don’t think I fully understand what you are trying to accomplish. But you can change the resolution from the properties in the game settings (you’ll find them from the project manager). If the image becomes too small, you can try to use a “zoom” action!
The game might still not look exactly sharp. Maybe try these settings like this from the properties:
Also, try going to the resources from the game settings and make sure your sprites don’t have “smooth the image” on.
Of course, you might just need higher quality sprites to achieve what you are looking for.
I’m still a beginner myself.
