Change value operator sign to default to equals/=

Anytime we’re changing the value of something, the modification sign field says Choose an operator. Instead of choosing each time, could we have a default sign that’s set to equals ?This would streamline nearly everything we do.

Maybe add a new setting to into the preferences tab and let the user to decide which operator is the default in the project
