Collision Mask Physics 2.0

I would like to make a collision mask like in the screenshot but for physics 2.0. Is that possible? It would make things a lot easier development wise.

No you cannot do that.
But you can use two objects and bind them with joints.

Thank you but that is indeed the complexity I am trying to avoid. It would be great if extra vertices could be added tot the physics2.0 engine in the future.
