Collisions between the player and the ground

Ok so. Im new to GDevelop and im trying stuf out. I want my player to fall from the sky and land on the ground. The problem is that when it drops, it detects a collison in the middle of the screen.

I think it is because of this:

(i already tried changing collision mask but it did not help.

You must have incorrectly changed the collision mask because I just tried it and it worked. Is there a reason there’s so much empty space around the sprite? You can just crop the sprite in piksel or gimp. If you don’t want crop it just use a custom collision mask.
