Deprecate camera numbers

Is the “Camera number” concept really useful for anything? I just leave it empty in every field and it wont make any difference to my game.

My suggestion is to remove this thing, deprecate it, hide, whatever, from the actions and the expressions, because I really don’t see any difference whether filling it or not. Maybe it is something carried over from older GDevelop versions, and has no utility today? (Just like the deprecated “Always” condition?)


I always thought is for something like co op split screen games

For splitscreen we just use the “Render to sprite” extension and render 4 layers to an sprite (each layer follows a different player)

Just to add to the request, beginners keep asking what to write in camera numbers when it actually doesn’t matter
