Depth sorting in isometric game?

I’m not making iso game now, but I have plans for it. But how do you do depth sorting in such game? Figured that it will be useful for other people so I’m asking. I’ll make 45 deg. graphics for it as it is easier to draw than 30 deg graphics (or whatever angle most iso games use).

Sorry I couldn’t do a quick and easy explanation myself. I have never done isometric stuff and never intend to.
