My suggestion is that the search box in Instance List follows the pattern of the other panels staying at the top. For now, it’s at the bottom:
It’s simple, but I believe it would be more organized and better looking.

Just to add my 2 cents
Since tree view is starting from top
And whatever you search will shrink list from bottom to top meaning if only one item will match keyword it will be on the top
Then it makes perfect sense for searchbar to be on top since most likely there you will leave your mouse cursor
So it will be closer to it when you find items you look for and have less distance to travel with mouse after search
Yeah that distance is not huge deal but it would be quality of life change
Not to mention consistency
