[Feature in Backlog] Possibility to select and paste grouping of tiles similar to LDtk in GDevelop

Hi!

To define the hitboxes of the atlas i can multiselect a block of tiles.
Why i can’t do this to paint more than one tile at once?

Have i overseen something?
Or should this be a feature request for a future release?
I mean, this is an often needed feature, i think.

you can click and drag to fill a rectangle, is that what you mean?

No, i want to select more than one tile at once in the tileset.
I want to draw some bigger elments inside the tileset, for example a tree, or building
with 2 x 2, or bigger dimensions at once, and not tile for tile.

Ah yes that would be quite nice.

It would be even better to be able to copy and paste from the drawn tiles on the scene, since you might want more than one combination

I have updated the title because this request appears to just be selecting a group of tiles from the tileset or the tilemap and use them like a stamp in the map (multi-select), not autotiling/auto rendering.

I believe the staff or another power user may have renamed it since it was originally posted, so applogies if I overstepped.
