I want to be able to fetch musics from my servers, and play them into the game. How could I do that?
You’ll need JavaScript.
ok but I’m not used to javascipt. Is there already a solution?
I don’t know for sure. I don’t need this feature right now, so I don’t know.
Please don’t offer help if you’re not sure about it. It only causes further confusion and doesn’t help if it’s incorrect.
Try this action:
Clicking it will result with this pop-up:
I meant that I didn’t need this feature, and I didn’t know if there were any ready-made solutions.
Maybe if you click “File(s) from your device” you’ll see the option that @MrMen showed you?
Are you using the online editor? If not, check that you have the latest version of GDevelop.
they are not using the online editor.
I do have the latetest version of gdevelop.
Hmm, this is interesting… I don’t find that feature either. I have the desktop version, and GDevelop just updated itself to the version 5.6.263.
But yeah, that feature would be very useful! ![]()
I didn’t find this feature when I decided to check it out. @MrMen Are you a wizard?
Heh, if only.
I’ve only checked the online version (https://editor.gdevelop.io/), which has it. I haven’t gotten round to checking the PC version.
Not sure of this, but would it suggest the two builds are from slightly different source codes?
I’ll take a look now.
I entered the URL, but he ignored it! You’re a magician!
I can’t find it in the PC version of GDevelop.
I created a project in online GDevelop and loaded a music file using a url. It worked and played the music.
Then I saved the project and opened it in the PC version of GDevelop. It too played the music using a URL. But when I go to edit it the option for URL is missing.
@PalelevaPingviini, maybe raise this as a bug with GDevelop?
Yes, I just created a bug report. ![]()
