Answer: The main environment image had to be on the same layer as the character.
How do I make it so my player character moves around in the scene?
It has the top down movement behaviour and the smooth camera behaviour. The image I want to use as a map is on a seperate layer under it, and it is bigger than the game borders (I’ve been told before that it was okay for it to be that way). However, whenever the character moves the bigger image doesn’t move accordingly, and I cannot find a clear answer as to what I’m doing wrong or what I’m supposed to do to solve this.
