I would really like to see GDevelop include an option to turn on rulers, similar to the ones in Photoshop, and to be able to create guides from them. This would make prototyping and placing assets much easier, since rulers and guides allow for precise alignment and positioning of objects within a scene. Having the ability to drag out guides and optionally snap objects to them would speed up the workflow, improve accuracy, and provide a more familiar experience for users who are used to design tools. It would be especially useful when working on menus, HUDs, or any layout where clean alignment is important, and I believe this feature would make GDevelop even more user-friendly and efficient.

have you already tried the grid and snap to grid options?
I did, and maybe Iām not using this option correctly, but I find the grid more suited for tiling sprites rather than precisely setting margins or placeholders for UI and other non-pixelated elements.

I support anything that provides an easier way to design our game.
