How can I use clipped text. I read wiki but doesn't work

I read a wiki about clipped text, and applied. but it doesn’t work.
I can see only first letter.

@gyrjs07 Your timer keeps resetting all the time. Remove the first reset.
When you have trouble, open the dialogue example project and compare your events.
