I was using 0.75x zoom at 720p. But it seems like the image quality suffers, so I switched back to 1x, but I lost the screen space I wanted.
Is there any way to get more screen space?

Increase project resolution
I’ve already tried doing that. But the pixels end up looking a bit messed up. Even with nearest scaling and pixel rounding.
Other than zooming out i cannot think of any other way
I know I could reduce the size of the sprites, but switching to 16x16 would be a bad idea. Also, it would be nice if GDevelop supported negative integers for zooming out.
I know: -1 would be inverted.
Imagine i know exactly how you feel cause i had same example wishes
But nothing ever changed so i get used to using decimals and trying to make game around my art and not try to fix it with zooming out
So how do you go about it? In terms of resolution, aspect ratio, size, and other factors?
I make pixel art games where it does not matter how much of game world you actually see
So zoom does not bother me
And i only zoom in without zooming out
So my resolution which is set in project properties dictate how much of game world someone can see
And i just build rest around it
He can make all the objects 2x resolution and scale them down for 2x without losing quality and modify the resolution if needed.
So it becomes the same because it cancels since he already said he changed the resolution and stuff it wouldn’t be a issue
It is not good practice to resize objects.
Just open the image editor and set them to 32x
All sprites are already on a 32x32 grid
Sorry I thought you said 16x16, idk bro just add a dummy object and try it. It would definitely look higher quality
