Can you add more details? Are you using the most recent version of GD? There have been several versions lately causing that type of error.
Are you using Javascript? Are you using behaviors or extensions? Can you narrow it down to a event or group of events? Does it happen by itself or when you do something? Try disabling event groups and see if it still happens.
