How I can do the sonic the hedgehog spindash?

the example above has enough for sonic fangames, but anyway, i can make you a quick example of spindash in a moment.

But before that, you’ll need to clarify what physics do you want to have in the spindash example, either if you want:

  • Platformer behavior physics.
  • Physics 2.0 behavior physics.
  • Hedgehog extension physics.

Pick one

i have platformer character behavior so i pick it

here’s a quick example i did: https://www.mediafire.com/file/gmw1egok3xqpz4g/Spinexample.zip/file

in any case you find it complicated, then i can only implement it on your project myself with your assistance

Yes I want to you implement to my game

Pd :sorry for be 25 days later

Also, I hate to be picky but if you create a Sonic game and release it, even as a fan homage, be prepared for the factual fact that Sega will probably sue the pants off you for copyright issues.

@RichTheGameDeveloper This is not true as long as the game is non-profit as you can read in this article: https://screenrant.com/sonic-hedgehog-fan-games-sega-response-legal-allowed/

That’s also the reason why there are tons of Sonic fan games out there.

You could try by using this example:

I heard you’re hiring people to make a game you don’t know how to do, but you want to do.

You’re asking for people able to complete the code (without you learning how to do it), and then send the complete code to you.

That sounds like a job!

I’ve been learning game design in my free time for almost all my life, and I can make a basic functional platformer with Sonic-like physics for you to modify and create levels for it.

Send me your project specifications through private message and I’ll reply with a budget proposal.
