i got banned on the gdevelop official server cuz i pinged 3 moderators since i joined (not in a row) in the whole time, and its cuz i forgot i cant ping, can u pls unban me ? my dc name is noam and i promise i won’t do it again
There’s a simple way, don’t get banned in the first place.
This won’t help him get unbaned and that is question of this topic
I remember you
Noam you 3 times was warned not to ping others without active conversation
In fact you were warned more than 3 times
How exactly you want any1 to believe you that this won’t happen again if you did make it happen more than 3 times?
IDK if they ever unban any1
If you care you can just ask here for one more chance
And if they somehow believe you then who knows
But other thant that i doubt it will happen
Anyway why you need discord
If you have problems why you just don’t use forums?
Here you don’t even need to @ any1 and you can ask same questions that you did ask on discord
Where at the same time here are more ppl capable of providing help
when i pinged the 3rd time it was when u were on not off , and second thing discord is faster i prefer to use it than this website
I doubt it is about pinging moderators
It is about you doing same thing over and over
How many times did i tell you it is not ok to @ someone?
I for sure count you @ me more than 5 times
Each time i told you it will get you in trouble
So to be fair how you expect to get unbanned?
I am not moderator so my opinion does not matter
Personally i would give you one last chance
But i would say moderation was already A LOT forgiving for you
Apologizing and asking for one more chance will not hurt
So you can keep trying and who knows
its literally impossible, i got banned a year ago and i’ve tried to get unbanned literally ever since, its super annoying that there isnt an appeal, especially becaues i personally didnt even get a warning
that wont work, admins dont listen to excuses at all
unfair, i didnt get a single warning haha
At this point he is banned
He can only apologize and ask for another chance
It is choice of moderation do they want to take risk and give a chance which means he will now need to keep eye on him or not
Looking at how moderation is forgiving i would assume it could be possible where that does not mean it will happen
And if you @ someone and you will be told by regular user that you should not do it then mods will not hunt you with axe
But if you keep getting moderation warnings and that does not result in you changing your behavior then you get banned
Where no one gonna give you warning just for @ someone
You can always explain why you @ someone and if it is justified you will only get verbal warning in what cases it is acceptable and in which it is not
So i it really more depends on your behavior and not on rules you break
there is no appealing tho, i have tried a long time. contacting different mods n stuff
I did not say there is
I for example block ppl that try to ask me via DM what they could ask on help channel
(of course i warn them i am blocking for asking stuff they could ask in help channel 1st)
And i do not even try to understand these ppl no do i regret banning them neither do i really care what they have to say afterwards
But that does not mean that if someone would contact me from different acc or by other user and genuinely apologize stating that they realize how A hole move it was
And that they would ask for another chance
EVEN SO i would still not give a fak about them
I would at least consider could i give them one more chance
There is always time to block someone
No need to rush it
And i would believe moderation CAN have same approach which does not mean they will
zerox where can i ask u things? i need help for my game
This is forum you make new topic and ask your question so any1 can answer
You don’t go directly toward any1 like you did on discord which get you banned
Other than bans for being under the minimum age for the Server or Discord TOS (which expire sometime after you are past the minimum age), all bans are permanent. There are no appeals or un-ban requests.
