How do I make a Save system, I’ve been working on my Metroidvania for about 4 months now and I am still running into problems with saving and loading, now that I’m getting a money system set up thats gonna make it a lot harder to get away with.

I’ve been using the tutorial on Youtube but it’s just not working no matter how much I do it, I’m possibly messing it up but some clarification would genuinely help so much.

If you making the pc game you need to use “save to json” and “load from json”
what cannot you do? what is the problem?
