How to make Dialogue using the new Yarn Spinner?

so i just found out that “Yarn” was changed into “Yarn Spinner”. i tried editing with yarn spinner v1 but it seems that i cannot save the text i wroted and saving to json and opening it doesnt help. so i tried Yarn Spinner v2 that need visual code to write the dialogue, and when i try to export, there’s Json export option…

so while v1 support json export but you cant save the file cause opening it only lead to restart the file. the v2 support saving the file but u cant export it into json

is the only way to load yarn dialogues is via JSON?
what should i do, help please?

So I don’t understand most of what you’re saying in your first few sentences, but for your final question:

Yarnspinner 2.0 is a complete rework of a lot of the language and the editor. Basically, it’s a different program entirely.

You will not be able to make anything compatible with GDevelop using Yarnspinner 2.0.

You’ll need to either A: Use the editor built into GDevelop, or B: Download and use YarnClassic GitHub - blurymind/YarnClassic: A tool for writing interactive dialogue in games!

wait, there’s built in one?
and how do you build the one downloaded from github?

Big button on the right that says “Create with yarn”.

There is no “building”, just use the web app links at the bottom or follow the steps it says about saving it to your PC.
