Currently if there is a platformer character ontop of a platform and the platform moves the character moves with it. Is there a way to disable this so that the character stays stationary?
Someone asked kinda the same:
I need my platformer character to not be carried by my platform. I still want the platform to interact with the player but if the player is on top of it when it moves the player will remain it the same position. A platform that slides under the player.

In the platform behavior there is an option named “Deceleration”, how fast the character must stop after running. The higher the number the faster the character stops.

In the event sheet you can change it too
[deceleration02]
So you can have normal floors as well as oily or icy floors where the character will slide further.
