I’m planning to create an app related to my music project and its narrative world.
This app will also have a mini-game inside of it.
My goal is to launch in fall/winter a subscription for my fans, and to include in this subscription full access to some extra features in the app or areas in the game that otherwise would be limited (e.g. 1 use/acces per month).
Being this a fan/community subscription, I’ll probably use a platform like Memberful, Patreon or similar.
Can you think of any way to integrate into the app the subscription status of the user?
I asked my AI and it told me I’ll need APIs from the subscription platform or similar.
Before I dive into that, and the creation of the app itself, I’d like to know any opinion from you, who probably know far more about how these things work than me.
Keep in mind that I understand how programming works and can tweaks some things reading online or asking AI, but I don’t know how to code.
Aand I’m into GDevelop since just 3 days, I only did some UI test.
But I have to know what I’m diving into and plan accordingly.
Has anyone of you ever done something similar?
