Is there any way to view the code in other people's games?

I’m trying to make a story game which involves a lot of talking to NPCs, and I found a game that has what I want. Is there any way I can open the code and see how they did it?

I don’t think so but you ask them to send you the game files

Not without the gamedev giving you a copy of their source code, no.

If it’s an example in the engine you can just pull it out of the example list either on the website or on the “Open project” screen in the engine.
