The only part I would disagree with you on your interpretation of how EXACTLY I described the behaviors was with the knife still following the cursor during animation. Line 2 of my wants in my very first post clearly states no cursor following
I did get that you do not want to rotate it around player while it is in attack animation
But rotate toward cursor while in attack animation
So like freeze its angle to player but does not freeze its rotation to cursor
So after all we would be better off going step by step
Then you would just need to use same variable in it instead of expression
And blocking variable when bite is attack animation would do all you want
And now my events would work as you want and your events the ones with create/delete object would work as you want
