How do I…
Download the project game file with File > Save as > Save to Computer.
What is the expected result
I want the json file with the assets folder. I need it to save with others
What is the actual result
Since I’m on MacOS, there is no Save to Computer button like Windows, it directly tells me to save it to GDevelop Cloud

As you can see, no option to click save to computer

Also no option to save to computer when you create a new project

Project files (optional)
Very funny, because I can’t save it to my computer!
Insert a minimal game showing your issue in a .zip or .rar.
Hi there, when you create the new project select “Don’t save this project now”. After the new project is done creating, go to Save As. You will see 3 options: Save project to GDevelop Cloud, Google Drive, or Download a copy.
I did not test it out since I never use the browser. I just saw your post and checked my Windows, Mac and Linux machine and saw that none of them have a button to save to my computer when creating a project, only the image you show saying save to cloud or don’t save. However creating a new project on my Mac and then opening Save As showed those options I listed.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I’m not using the browser. It’s the downloaded version for MacOS. Apologies for not clarifying.
I tried this, and it didn’t work. Still getting forced to save to GDevelop Cloud rather than MacOS

What should I do?
My bad, I shouldn’t have assumed you were using a browser but I’ve never seen the downloaded version not have an option to save on whatever computer I’m using. On my system when I click create a new project, I get an option to save to cloud or computer:
When I choose my computer I then get to select the file location I want to save it if I don’t like the default location.
I am running Sonoma 14.5 and the latest GDevelop on an Intel MacBookPro. If I remember, I downloaded the dmg file from the GDevelop website, mounted it by double clicking and then followed the onscreen widget thing that pops up to drag it into Applications.
I’m not sure why it won’t show for you, the image you show looks like exactly what I see using the browser GDevelop on any of my machines. When you open Finder and select Applications do you see GDevelop 5?
