Moving this over to the feature requests section.
As a heads up, even if this isn’t added to the engine: If you’d like to disable snapping, just disable the grid:
I want grid as guide but didn’t want it’s magnetic behaviour. Disabling grid leads no option except either code to do align or to guess that here might be centre.
Totally understandable, I was just providing details on options in case this feature isn’t implemented.
